PidUAlg is a Design research hub created in 2021 within the scope of a protocol between the University of Algarve and the University of Lisbon. It is based in Faro, at ESEC (Communication and Education Higher School) of the University of the Algarve, on room 78.
PidUAlg is part of the Architecture Research Center of the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Architecture. In addition to this research group, CiAUD has more than 20 groups linked to other educational institutions of higher education in Portugal.
Researchers and professors from the University of the Algarve Design area are part of PidUAlg.
With the creation of this hub, the aim is to consolidate research in the design area on the region, and at the national and international levels, and to promote scientific, technological and artistic knowledge.
